Pianist

Lora was born in 2007 and lives in Utrecht, the Netherlands. She has loved the piano since the age of five. She started learning to play the piano using the Kodály method, which focuses on the idea that music is a social and cultural experience. Furthermore, she explored musical education at the choir school in Utrecht, where she did a lot of singing. In 2017, she had the chance to perform The Snowman together with the Utrecht Youth Orchestra. In 2022 and 2024, she earned an honourable mention in the Prinses Christina Concours, the Dutch National Youth Music Competition. Additionally, she took part in several other summer programs in Europe and the Piano Festival in Oberlin, Ohio in 2024. She has been studying piano under the guidance of Henk Ekkel at the Academie voor Muzikaal Talent in Utrecht since 2020. During the years, she performed in several senior centres, which she found very rewarding experiences!
