Ian has been playing the cello since he was 4. He has won the MTNA 2023 New Hampshire Music Competition, MTNA 2022 Vermont Music Competition, and is a First Prize Winner in the 2021 Crescendo International Music Competition. He has performed at numerous musical venues including Boston Symphony Hall, Harvard’s Sanders Theatre, Boston University’s Tsai Center, and MIT’s Kresge Auditorium. He has been a part of the cello section in the Boston Youth Symphony for two seasons. Ian also enjoys performing at retirement homes.
