Anna Snecinski is a 16-year-old pianist from Tampa, Florida. She began playing the piano at the age of five, and has been studying with Dr. Ghadeer Abaido from the University of South Florida since 2022. Recent piano accomplishments include the participation in local piano festivals, collaboration with choirs and instrumentalists, pit orchestra, and the attendance of Interlochen Arts Camp in 2023 and 2024.
Anna has a health condition called Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome (CVS). She recently performed in a solo recital, raising $1700 for CVSA (an association that funds research and serves the needs of CVS sufferers).
Anna enjoys performing and bringing music to residents at senior living centers in the Tampa Bay area. She is the Vice President of Entertainment at Brookdale Bayshore Retirement Home, through a program organized by her high school.
Anna is also a composer, songwriter, and music producer. In 2022, at age 14, she was a finalist in the National Young Composers Challenge for her wind quintet, “Confused Tempest.”
