Our Story

Harmonic Tie is a student-led organization that is dedicated to building harmonious bonds across generations. Born during the pandemic, Harmonic Tie was founded with the mission of bringing companionship, joy, and much-needed support to help seniors combat isolation. This initiative was launched in early 2022 by 11-year-old Grace Lan.

Since the very beginning, Harmonic Tie has received warm welcomes and heartfelt appreciation from the seniors it serves. In 2023, the organization began to expand, inviting more young musicians to join. Today, over 30 young musicians from the U.S., Canada, and Europe are part of Harmonic Tie, bringing joy and companionship to thousands of seniors around the world.
